Congratulations to the five finalists selected for the Bricklink Designer Program crowdfunding phase of Series 1! Let’s take a closer look at each of these outstanding builds.

Mountain Fortress

First up is the Mountain Fortress, an impressive build that uses just shy of the maximum allowed 4000 pieces. This foldable fortress includes removable sections for easy access to all parts of the interior. Advanced builders will appreciate the many unexpected details and techniques, including the use of Technic pieces in both structural and decorative roles.

Parisian Street

Next, we have the Parisian Street model, a stunning representation of Haussmann-style facades that boasts 3465 pieces and seven minifigures. This model includes a large bakery, a flower shop, a Bistrot, luxury living room, billiard hall, atelier, small apartment with a rooftop terrace, and much more, making it the perfect addition to any LEGO city.

The Old Train Engine Shed

The Old Train Engine Shed is another finalist that boasts an impressive 2298 bricks. Built with masonry bricks, this shed features six large windows and two large doors, as well as a fully equipped workshop with a working overhead crane to lift and move heavy locomotives. The rear of the shed even includes a little shack with a small office and a stove.

Snack Shack

The Snack Shack is a fun, 548-piece build that features a fully equipped snack bar with a deep fryer, milkshake machine, press grill, condiment station, and fridge. Inspired by a food truck in Key West, Florida, this build is a classic travel trailer that can be easily removed from its base for placement wherever you’d like.

General Store – Wild West

Last but not least, the General Store – Wild West offers a one-story building with an interesting color scheme and horizontal boarding walls. Inside, you’ll find several shelves full of mining equipment, canned food, and bottles of various liquors, as well as a stove for the colder months. Outside, there are supplies of straw for the animals and multiple barrels full of liquor and gunpowder. This build even includes a wagon with new supplies heading to the store!

Once again, congratulations to these five talented finalists. LEGO fans everywhere can’t wait to see how these buildsmake out in the crowd funding phase coming February 2024.
