Welcome to this week’s LEGO IDEAS Community Spotlight! Today, we’re excited to feature an impressive project that’s been gathering a lot of support from LEGO fans around the world – The Hourglass by Brick Dangerous.

The Designer

Brick Dangerous is no stranger to the world of LEGO IDEAS, having previously entered the running for the Target x LEGO IDEAS Set Vote.

Marine Life a Target X LEGO IDEAS Vote finalist submission

The contest was held in 2020 and aimed to find the next LEGO IDEAS set that would be exclusively sold at Target stores in the United States. The competition was fierce, with 10 finalists selected from a pool of over 600 entries.

Brick Dangerous entered the contest with a build called “The Coral Reef”, which featured an intricate underwater world with colourful marine life and hidden treasures. While the build ultimately did not win the Target x LEGO IDEAS Set Vote, it was still an impressive and highly-detailed creation that showcased the builder’s skills and creativity.
