If you’re a Marvel fan, you’ll want to add the LEGO Thor’s Hammer set to your collection. This set is based on the iconic hammer wielded by the God of Thunder himself, and it’s a great representation of the weapon. Here’s my review of the set:

Instructions

The instructions are clear and easy to follow. They are broken down into numbered bags, which makes the build process more manageable. The only issue I had with the instructions was that some of the smaller pieces were hard to see in the pictures.

Build Techniques

The build techniques in this set are interesting and fun. There are some great SNOT (Studs Not On Top) techniques used to create the curves of the hammer head. The handle is also built with a clever design that allows it to be hollow, yet sturdy.

Overall Design

The overall design of the set is impressive. The hammer is tall and has a nice weight to it. The interior of the build is also stable, which allows for easy pickup of the hammer. The only downside to the design is that the handle feels a little flimsy, like the Curved 4 x 1 x 2/3 Double pieces are going to pop off if grabbed incorrectly. Additionally, there are a couple of small gaps where plates could have overlapped a little to remove the gap.

Final Product

The final product is a great representation of Thor’s Hammer. The size of the set is impressive, and it makes for a nice centerpiece to a collection. However, it does require a bit of extra height for displaying, so keep that in mind.

Favorite Parts

My favorite parts of the set are the size and weight of the hammer. It feels great to hold and looks impressive on display. I also appreciate the stable interior design.

Disliked

The only downsides to the set are the slightly flimsy handle and the small gaps in the build.

Overall, I would recommend the LEGO Thor’s Hammer set to any Marvel fan. It’s a great addition to any collection, and the build process is fun and engaging. Despite a few minor flaws, the final product is impressive and well worth the price.
